MONTREAL, Quebec, CANADA: At AAE19, the annual session of the American Association of Endodontsts, held April 10 to 13, Sonendo announced it is launching the GentleWave System in Canada.
In a press release, president and CEO Bjarne Bergheim said: “We are excited about the increasing demand for the GentleWave procedure from clinicians and patients alike. Now that Sonendo has received Health Canada approval for the GentleWave System, we look forward to partnering with endodontists in Canada to improve clinical efficacy and practice efficiency.”
During AAE19, Sonendo sponsored several special events, including the 2019 Welcome Reception and the 5K Charity Run/Walk to benefit the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Also during the meeting, Kirk Coury, DDS, MS, and James C. Douthitt, DDS, MS, presented “A GentleWave System Case Study: Investing in Efficacy and Realizing Value in Everyday Practice.” They reported on the positive impact to their schedule and economics since incorporating GentleWave into their practice.
Sonendo subsidiary TDO Software was at the meeting to showcase advancements that allow endodontists more opportunities to improve practice efficiencies through integration with the GentleWave System.
