Dental hygienists celebrate key dental industry partners

These strategic partnerships with dental industry leaders enable the association to provide a broad range of timely and relevant professional development opportunities for its members and to foster the success of CDHA’s crucial advocacy and public relations work. “CDHA is extremely grateful for the strong relationships that have been forged over the years with key dental industry leaders,” says Wendy Stewart, CDHA president. “The unwavering and generous support that CDHA receives from its industry partners helps to build public awareness of the profession and of the overall importance of oral health.”

CDHA established its Partners’ Circle to celebrate dental industry companies who are longstanding, committed partners of the association and who recognize the vital role dental hygienists play on the oral health care team.

This year, CDHA’s Partners’ Circle includes nine dental industry leaders whose sponsorship levels range from bronze to elite. The elite-level member is Crest + Oral-B; GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Johnson & Johnson, Philips, and Waterpik are gold-level members; the silver-level members are Colgate and Sunstar; and Dentsply Sirona and HuFriedyGroup are bronze-level members. CDHA is proud to recognize these dedicated dental industry partners as esteemed members of the Partners’ Circle.

CDHA is the collective national voice of more than 30,000 dental hygienists in Canada, directly representing 21,000 individual members, including students. Since 1963, CDHA has worked to advance the profession and promote the importance of oral health. Dental hygiene is the sixth-largest regulated health profession in Canada, with professionals working in a variety of settings, including independent dental hygiene practice, with people of all ages, addressing issues related to oral health.
