Prodont-Holliger, a French manufacturer of dental instruments, prides itself on using only the highest quality stainless steel and the latest production technics. The company points to its ISO:9001 certification as confirmation of the quality its instruments at each phase of production. A subsidiary of the Nadia Group, the company has worked for more than 60 years with dental customers throughout the world, today conducting business in more than 90 countries.

The company’s product mix dates to a 1980s merger of Prodont (manufacturer of abrasives and waxes) and Holliger (manufacturer of mirrors). Since then, the company diversified further by integrating the production of dental instruments for dentists and laboratories, including burners and blowtorches designed specifically for dental labs.

The company’s operations are divided into six main branches and three production sites. Its market areas include: dental (dentists and laboratories); non-dental (jewellery, clock industry, corrective lenses, visual arts, agro-alimentar); dental and laryngeal mirrors (Actual, Holy, Holyclar, DMS); abrasive discs (Speedy); dental instruments (diagnostic, restoration, parodontology, extraction, dental surgery, implantology, laboratory); dental lab burners (Miniflam, Holy, Laboflam, Maticflam, Microtorch, Protorch); dental waxes; and demonstration and study models.

The company’s mirrors are made of French stainless steel using automated or handmade processes, with quality control at each stage of assembly (ISO 9001:2008 certification).

The company is capable of producing as many as 10 000 mirror units daily. The company also can personalize the packaging and/or the mirrors themselves with your practice’s name or other branding — using an on-demand laser etching process.

Mirrors (mouth mirrors, laryngeal mirrors, photographic mirrors, micro-mirrors) are available in three materials: aluminium (back surface), rhodium and titanium (front surface). With an exceptional reflective power, better and brighter than a rhodium mirror, the titanium front-surface mouth mirror prevents the ocular tiredness caused by a prolonged use. The titanium mirror exhibits more than 80 percent reflection compared with 70–75 percent for rhodium and 65 percent for chromium. The titanium layer protects the quality of the reflective coating.

The company provides all the necessary instruments for implantology:
Straight or angulated osteotomes with laser marking of the graduations, stops — and with three types of tips (convex, concave and conic convex).
Universal implantology set (torque/ratchet key, implant screw extractor).
Hammer with Teflon ends, sinus lift instruments and Adson tweezers.

Dental instruments have two handle choices: The “XL” is a large-diameter hollow handle, which helps prevent carpal tunnel syndrome. The “Design” is a small-diameter handle with smooth curves for prehension and easy cleaning.

A set includes one handle and its mirror, one Heidemann spatula n°1, one probe n°1, and one College tweezer.
