MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada: The 43nd Journées dentaires internationales du Québec (JDIQ), held May 24 to 28, offered plenty of lectures, hands-on workshops and other educational offerings. The exhibit hall opened to an extra large crowd Monday morning, thanks in part to a complimentary continental breakfast awaiting attendees. The breakfast was available both mornings.

But the food and drinks were far from being the only special offer in the exhibit hall. Exhibitors were ready with a diverse array of discounts, drawings and diversions to attract extra attention to their booths.

At the University of Montréal Dental School booth, if you sunk a hole-in-one at the putting station, you could enter a drawing for a free entry in a golf tournament benefitting the dental program.

At the National Dental Inc. booth, attendees were invited to trade in their old intra-oral imaging device for $1,500 toward the purchase of the company’s latest imaging technology systems.

Sinclair Dental offered a free oxygen bar, operated by Dave McNamara of Element Oxygen Bars. The 92-percent pure oxygen was available in different choices of flavors for quickly re-energizing meeting attendees.

At the InfoSign Media booth, attendees were invited to test out the ServDentist SOLO Cloud for 30 days and get the chance to win an Apple iPad Mini, which is perfect for using SOLO Cloud in the office.

These were just a few of the countless specials that were available in the exhibit hall.
