HOUSTON, Texas, USA: OrthoAccel Technologies recently announced the addition of distinguished Canadian orthodontist Dr. Sam Daher to its Key Opinion Leadership Group of world-class clinicians who present scientific and clinical evidence supporting OrthoAccel’s medical device, AcceleDent, to orthodontists interested in incorporating the treatment modality into their practice.
Now available in over 1,000 orthodontic locations in North America, AcceleDent is the only FDA-cleared, Class II medical device that speeds up orthodontic treatment by as much as 50 percent.
A fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists and British Columbia’s first Align Technology Elite Premier Provider, Daher is the owner of Daher Orthostyle, a private orthodontic practice that has multiple offices in Vancouver, British Columbia and Calgary, Alberta.
Daher was one of the first Canadian orthodontists to recommend the prescription-only AcceleDent to patients and since becoming an OrthoAccel Key Opinion Leader, he frequently shares patient results and case studies with other innovative orthodontists who are looking to accelerate their patients’ treatments.
“AcceleDent is a game changer for the field of orthodontics because never before has there been a noninvasive way to accelerate orthodontic treatment,” said Daher, who is a globally renowned orthodontic lecturer. “I recommend AcceleDent because it delivers on its claims of being fast, safe and gentle, and my patients report significantly less discomfort during treatment with this device.”
A member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists, Daher will present a lecture on accelerated orthodontic treatment with AcceleDent at the 2014 AAO Annual Session in New Orleans, April 25-29, 2014.
